But, being a casual gamer, I only have a Nintendo switch. This game was never top of the line in graphics on other consoles' anyway. This game is a lot of fun. This game works really well on the switch. I played this on the PS4 and I will admit I wasn’t a big fan of it, however now that’s it’s on the Switch I play it often and have lots of fun. But the fun of its asymmetrical multiplayer-only action is heavily skewed toward Jason, which means you’ll mostly be stuck playing as teens rummaging through drawers. Very clunky handling/controls. It’s just really better on the switch. My top two favorite horror characters have to be Freddy Krueger from ”Nightmare in Elm Street” and Jason Voorhees from the ”Friday the 13th” franchises. It would be so much fun if we could now get a Nightmare on Elm Street game that plays on some of the same ideas and styling of this while adding the fantasy nightmare element! I love horror films. Illfonic has released the Friday the 13th The Game update 1.38 August 6 patch for the PS4 and PC and it’s out now. Not entirely sure why I pre-ordered this.
Oopsy, bad choice. Friday the 13th: The Game will include a variety of kills, new and familiar, that will help you set the tone for the Jason Voorhees that you want to be. I immediately went home and starting debating whether to get it or not. It's still has some bugs but nothing important. Plus this version comes with a cool collectable poster which you get no where else!

I thoroughly enjoy this game and love hearing the people talk sh@t online. Almost all the films, and have some memorabilia around the home.Very clunky handling/controls. Some of the other online players (if you don't plan on playing online, then don't even think of buying it) are very good.

While the hockey mask-clad murderer has been terrorizing gamers on PC, PS4, and Xbox One since 2017, this new Switch port introduces him to a new gaming audience to terrify. It's a solid game, with varied mechanics to survive or to kill other players if you get to be Jason. Hunting down players and executing them in spectacularly gory scenes is an homage that warms my lifelong Friday-fan heart. Well it depends. But that's okay, because it's just so fun trying to survive. This is the ultimate edition that comes with all the emotes and costumes. Friday The 13th: Ultimate Slasher Edition is a feature-rich version of the multiplayer game, but it's hard to see the Switch as its ideal home. I've now been playing it everyday since it has arrived. The design borrows directly from the films which, when you think about it, were really asymmetrical multiplayer matches all along. It's a game I don't regret buying a second time.
