I am giving just one star because I contacted the hotel to receive a refund because we have a stay at home order in place for NY. Situated near central Scranton, our hotel is just 5 miles from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport. Travel might only be permitted for certain purposes, and touristic travel in particular may not be allowed. The room was clean, but I wasn't impressed with the mustard color scheme. A great choice. Cooper's is an event in itself, we highly recommend them for a lunch or dinner. If you want to walk to a local restaurant, be aware that there was only one traffic light and no sidewalks; I had to walk through parking lots and grassy areas to get anywhere. Located less than a mile from Scranton Cultural Center, this Hilton hotel features a large indoor pool and modern guest rooms. I recommend staying here. Scranton is a very nice place enjoying several yearly events, which a few samples are the Aquarium located in the Market Place, Scranton Cultural Center, and Greek food festivals held twice a year.
