Levelling up your character involves following a career path, learning new skills and building characteristics that your chosen role needs, like working through from Vagabond, to the lofty heights of Wandering Trader or maybe changing careers as you progress, maybe Hans the Grave Robber's adventures have made him have a change of heart, and now he wants to use his skills to be an Investigator, maybe Mary the Hunter has seen too much evil in her woods, and she joins the ranks of the Witch Hunters to help stem the tide.
