Also several times it has said that the forecast is rain but Northern California has had no rain for most of December and unfortunately won't have any rain forecasted for the next 2 weeks (basically till the end of the year).

I am comparing this to another indoor/outdoor thermometer and so far it is off by about 5-10 degrees on both indoor and outdoor. Have to keep it plugged in all times.
It never was able to detect the correct humidity either indoor or outdoor.
