I read a lot of non-fiction books for learning and find most of the information is something I already know, but every once in a while I find a gem of new insight and creative thought. The rawness of the book is part of the appeal, it isn't a work that the late Professor Hawking had the opportunity to craft, to shape into a consistent narrative. Chapter, I have always been a great fan and an admirer of Stephen Hawking, I have read his previous works and I was very excited to read this one too so I pre-ordered it.

I know that plays into the hands of looneys who think fairies in the sky created everything but I'd rather have no explanation at all (right now) than a half hearted attempt at one. It is a piece promoting, in a very entertaining manner, many things we should be striving to: question everything, keep an open mind - but maintain critical thinking, look ahead, be positive.
