Based on the astonishing true story of one extraordinary boy. I have always liked learning about history, especially World War II, so I found this book very engrossing. Projekt 1065 is about a 13 yr old boy son of Irish ambassador to Germany during WWII. It covers the information from Jack’s life; but some of the times and things have been changed to suit the story. It's fast all of the time and you never get a rest. His non fiction stories are generally based on events but with made up characters. Also Fritz's sister is very odd.

One of my students loved it, so I owed it to her to read it. How old are you? Great book. It is told through a young boy's (13 y/o) perspective who has a photogenic memory and has to make decisions that are way beyond his age and experience. I did read the other book the author wrote, Prisoner B-3081, and this book is very different. One of the things that were weird was how Hitler even thought of doing this to the jewish. The ending kept me on the edge of my seat, and the story had a plot that was well written. Where were you born? It's not as good as Refugee though.

Exciting, suspenseful. However, given the lack of character development, the lack of believability, and general poor writing, I think zero stars is actually quite fair.Wow, this was absolutely terrible. When Michael learns about Projekt 1065, a secret Nazi war mission, things get even more complicated.
Projekt 1065 loves to recap things that JUST HAPPENED in a way that's not unlike the use of slow motion special effects in the aforementioned bad spy movie.
