The crafting is really enjoyable and relies heavily on exploration so if you enjoy exploring uncharted territory collecting ingredients and such until you can build bigger and better things, this should scratch that itch nicely. I found the crafting elements in the game to be very enjoyable and I must admit that I was surprised by the amount of depth present here.

Subnautica swept me away with its gorgeous graphics, addicting rogue like elements, and lovingly crafted game systems. But the breadth of content here and the open-world nature both in terms of playspace and just pure choice in how you go about it is something rarely seen in games.
